SWIR Target Selection Shows Low Radiance Values

Created by Ryan Riley, Modified on Thu, 25 Jun at 4:12 PM by Ryan Riley

Check raw cube signal. Open in ENVI/SpectralView/etc. and check raw DNs of reflectance panels. Should see counts in the many tens of thousands for  56% and 82% panels. If values are low, there may not be enough signal.

If signal is sufficient, ensure the dark folder is not inside the scene folder in \GRAW\uVS-###\flight_#\*scene_folder*. Dark folder should be kept alongside the scene folder in \GRAW\uVS-###\flight_#\

If neither of the above fix the problem, check that the radiometric calibration directory for the SWIR sensor contains only the radioCal.raw folder, and not also the radioCal.nuc or nuc folders.
