This may happen if the lens cap was not on during dark collection. If the "dark" data is no longer dark and has quite a bit of observed spectra, during the radiance conversion, the scene data is subtracting much larger "dark" values and may end up with little to no usable data left.
You may try using dark reference data from a previous flight with similar exposure level and gain mode.
